A Forbes man has been charged with public mischief.
A 62-year-old Forbes man has been charged following Thursday morning's 000 hoax call that saw a responding police care involved in a collision.
The man has been charged with public mischief and a telecommunications offence. He will appear in Parkes Local Court on September 18.
At 8am on July 27, two Parkes police officers were responding to the high risk threat in Forbes when they collided with the ute while attempting to overtake it on the Newell Highway.
Over the weekend, police followed a driver into a Cedar Crescent yard after he allegedly did not stop for an random breath test in Boronia Place and they detected the 39-year-old was a disqualified driver.
Police further allege they detected six cannabis plants at the location the driver pulled into.
Police are investigating a break-in at Forbes Toyota was broken into between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning.
