With the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections scheduled for Thursday, authorities are taking no chances with the security arrangements to make sure no untoward incidents happen during the polls.

Recently the National Investigation Agency (NIA) received a phone call claiming that there will be a chemical attack during the vote on Friday.
The NIA and police which began the probe into the identity of the caller zeroed in on one Irshad Shaikh from Mira Road in Mumbai.

Mumbai police, based on the call records arrested the 35-year-old and booked him under section 505 and 182 of Indian Penal Code.
Police said the arrested man has confessed of making the hoax call and admitted that he did it to frame another person with whom he had enmity.
